國際展覽業(yè)協(xié)會（UFI）是世界博覽業(yè)*代表性的協(xié)會，也是展覽業(yè)界*全球化組織。被展覽界公認為展覽會走向世界的橋梁，經(jīng)國際展覽業(yè)協(xié)會認可的展會是高品質(zhì)展覽會的標志。國際展覽業(yè)協(xié)會的前身為“國際博覽會聯(lián)盟”，2003年10月改為現(xiàn)名。該組織于1925年4月15日在意大利米蘭成立，總部現(xiàn)設(shè)在法國巴黎。


國際展覽業(yè)協(xié)會的宗旨是代表展覽會、博覽會組織者的利益，維護展覽會、博覽會的質(zhì)量標準，規(guī)范展覽組織者的市場行為。主要的職能包括：授予綜合性和專業(yè)性貿(mào)易博覽會以“國際”資格；采取一切必要措施協(xié)助會員在發(fā)展的世界經(jīng)濟中更加有效地開展活動；對國際貿(mào)易博覽會所共同關(guān)心的問題開展國際范圍的研究；代表會員參加相應(yīng)的其他國際組織；保護會員利益，并為此采取一切必要措施使有關(guān)國家的政府當局注意并同意這一點；在互相尊重對方利益的基礎(chǔ)上，通過有關(guān)會員之間的對話，盡可能地協(xié)調(diào)獲本聯(lián)盟認可的博覽會的日程安排；根據(jù)有關(guān)方面的要求成立仲裁委員會，解決會員之間的糾紛；努力尋求并使用一切合適的方法加強國際博覽會聯(lián)盟的國際地位，并為此目的開展宣傳和信息工作；為維護會員利益，對一切阻撓自由參加國際貿(mào)易博覽會的不公平行為采取一切其他必要的行動；采取一切措施限制國際貿(mào)易博覽會激增的趨勢，即通過干預(yù)各國負責機構(gòu)，使這些機構(gòu)授予只有符合本章程第八條規(guī)定的貿(mào)易博覽會和展覽會國際資格；向貿(mào)易博覽會組織者，尤其是發(fā)展中國家的組織者提供技術(shù)幫助。經(jīng)過八十年的發(fā)展，現(xiàn)已擁有256家會員組織，其中包括233家組展者、展館業(yè)主和展覽行業(yè)合作組織、42家展覽協(xié)會。它們分布在五大洲71個國家的156個城市。


UFI is the association of the world's leading tradeshow organisers andfairgroundowners， as well as the major national and international associations of the exhibition industry， and its partners.


UFI represents 442 member organisations (composed of 227 Exhibition Organisers， 36 Hall Owner Managers， 120 Exhibition Organisers & Hall Owner Managers， 37 Associations and 22 Partners of the exhibition industry)， present in 189 cities in 83 countries on the 5 continents.


UFI was founded in Milan， Italy， on 15 April 1925， by 20 leading European international trade fairs， namely:Bordeaux， Brussels， Budapest，cologne， Danzig， Frankfurt/Main， Leipzig， Ljubljana， Lvov， Lyon， Milan， Nizhny Novgorod， Padua， Paris，Prague， Reichenberg， Utrecht， Valencia， Vienna and Zagreb.


UFI has bestowed its quality label upon over 782 trade fairs and exhibitions organised by its members.


As a privileged forum for dialogue， UFI's main goal is to represent its members and the exhibition industry worldwide.


By promoting the unique characteristics of trade fairs:


UFI plays the role of an efficient networking platform where professionals of the exhibition industry can exchange ideas and experiences;


UFI promotes trade fairs and exhibitions globally as a unique marketing and communications tool;


UFI provides UFI members with valuable studies and research regarding all aspects of the exhibition industry;


UFI offers educational training opportunities and a variety of high-level seminars; and


UFI deals with issues of common interest for its members in the frame of the regular meetings of its regional chapters and working committees.
